It's Been So Long

Do you have high expectations of your self?  Do you think this stops you from trying/completing things?

I am my own worst enemy. The bar I set myself is so high. It takes me forever to design things. 

I do understand that we are our own greatest enemy. We are so critical of ourselves. 

I just read this great article:

This article talks about putting yourself out there. Really we have nothing to lose. 

“My whole life I’ve done that. I’ve been so hard on myself. I needed my hip replacement because of bone degeneration. I didn’t eat right and ended up here, all because of external judgment that I had internalized. All out of fear.”

Your belief in yourself has to supersede your current state of success.

That’s what Gandhi’s famous words, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world,” really mean.

Season's Greetings

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hope it was a beautiful day for all.

I owe you all a huge apology. I didn't get my Christmas cards sent.  I made them early and then misplaced them.  By the time they were found the cards would not have been received before Christmas.  The best intentions, sorry.

Leading up to Christmas I was busy creating artwork as gifts.  Also my son turned 21 on the 17th Dec '14.  He had a bit of a party but we put on a bigger one for his 18th.
